Community

Located in Westminster, Colorado, Retreat Westminster Center's neighborhood offers convenient access to Denver and Boulder, making it ideal for regional commuting and travel.

Residents enjoy spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment floor plans with modern finishes, in-home washer and dryer, and resort-style amenities in a central Colorado location.

This is a non-smoking community, meaning smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, including apartments and shared amenity spaces.

Leasing

Applicants submit basic information and complete an online application with required documents such as government-issued ID and income verification through the leasing portal.

Applicants must show a gross monthly income of at least two times the monthly rent, either individually or combined for multiple leaseholders.

Guarantors may be accepted for applicants who do not meet income requirements, and must meet financial qualifications and complete screening approval.

Lease terms typically range from 1 to 15 months depending on availability and unit type. Lease terms are subject to change without notice.

There is no minimum credit score requirement; approvals are based on income, rental history, background screening, debt-to-income ratio, and identity verification.

No waitlist is maintained; available apartments can be applied for directly as they become available.

The community offers escorted in-person, self-guided, virtual tours scheduled through the leasing office to view apartments and amenities.

Applicants must provide a government-issued photo ID and complete electronic income and identity verification through the online application system.

Lease transfers or roommate changes require a new application, screening approval, income verification, and completion of lease addendum paperwork.

Residents must submit written notice with the required notice period and intended move-out date through the leasing office or approved channels. Lease terms are subject to change without notice.

Applying early is recommended to improve availability, allow time for screening, and ensure smoother lease approval before move-in.

Amenities

Utilities

Residents are responsible for water, sewer, trash services, pest control, and electricity, which are set up through Xcel Energy or other providers.

Internet service is not included, and residents must choose and set up their preferred provider such as Xfinity or another local option.

Maintenance

Maintenance is available during business hours with emergency on-call support for urgent after-hours issues.

Requests can be submitted through the resident portal, by phone, email, or in person, with emergencies prioritized for immediate response.

Urgent issues include no heat, no AC, leaks, burst pipes, electrical outages, fire hazards, and lock-related emergencies requiring immediate response.

Lost keys, malfunctioning fobs, and lockouts are generally treated as resident responsibility issues and may require office assistance based on policy.

Pet Policy

Retreat Westminster Center's pet policy allows cats and dogs are allowed with a maximum of two pets per household, and all pets must complete screening and be approved by management.

Certain dog breeds are restricted. The following breeds are generally prohibited:

  • American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier (aka Pit Bull)
  • Presa Canario
  • Chow Chow
  • Doberman Pinscher
  • German Shepherd
  • Great Dane
  • All Husky & Malamute breeds
  • Rottweiler
  • Wolf/Restricted breed mix

Service animals are generally exempt regardless of breed. Management must approve all animals. Lease holders and applicable occupants are required to complete a Pet Screening Profile.

The community includes pet-friendly amenities such as designated pet areas and a dog park for resident use.

Parking

Residents must register vehicles through an online parking system by submitting vehicle details for approval.

Carports are accessed through designated driving routes with clearly marked entry points throughout the property.

Residents are generally limited to one vehicle per leaseholder to ensure fair parking availability across the community.
